couenneBlog, return!
Ahhhhhh!!! Ohhhhh! Ohhhhh!
I hear astonishment of the bottom of the room! And yes, I decided aujourdh' ui to dedicate a little time to my blog (which was not updated for 2 months will not miss to point to me out the most captious …) qui n’a pas été mis à jour depuis 2 mois ne manqueront pas de me faire remarquer les plus pointilleux…)
It seems to me that the life of a blog is often made these notes of small denomination, which finally relate only the occupation of his author.
Indeed, my life is taken well since November.
As many people know it, I participate in the creation of Joobisoft. We are therefore established in Ireland and in Galway for the moment.
Joobisoft is born in September. We are four associates, among whom one who got lost in Japan since then.
The first products of Joobisoft are really about to go out and we are really impatient there. I would not itemise here the activity of the society, the Internet site takes responsibility for it completely correctly (anglophobes refrain)
To create a society, it is a lot of job and investment of one (at time and silver). But my last months have no most ugly summers of my life, far off! After a complete year of job and of preparations for Joobisoft, we decided to make a pause widely deserved at the end of this year 2007.
I therefore left Ireland and its humidity for some days …
Direction Prague!!! Since my stay of some months in Russia (Volgograd), Prague had a bit become my ultimate objective.
I left over there for week One complete week in the hotel Stirka *** (Praha
for 90 euro in complete pension. Knowing that the plane ticket costs between 120 and 160 euro of Dublin. You have a report however here quality bargain price!
My first impressions in a descending line of the plane It is cold!!! Envisage shoes with thick and insulating soles because I regretted having that basketball all week long!!!
The city of Prague is absolutely splendid and faithful to its reputation of Eastern jewels. The city centre and the Jewish city is really nice, with facades to make turn pale with jealousy our nicest buildings Haussmaniens. Indeed, buildings are massive but refined, and often coloured! The slightest details of facade are worked, and it is a true pleasure of wandering aimlessly in the city.
Prague does not stop in its very tourist city centre, in very westernized prices Take a tram (25), direction Kobilisy, go down to terminus and you will be in a district certainly much less rich architecturalement, but with praguois truths, who go shopping at the market, who discuss and who eat (drink). I speak about this district because it is that of the hotel where I domiciled (where I “ down ", this makes Belmondo very, I always dreamt to say it!). And this small district simply really pleased me because he resembles the fashionable districts of Volgograd, and reminded me of a lot of memories. It is also necessary to say that there was in this district (above the metro station Kobilisy) a restaurant where you eat for two, as four and for the modest sum eight-euro.
The restaurants of Prague are compared in general cheap with prices Frenchman (even more compared with prices Irishman!). You will always eat thing in your hunger for big step. However, do not expect the finest kitchen of the world I devoured each of my meals, but it is there about dishes which “are well fond of the body”, very country and/or mountain dwellers to confront cold. Advice of the eternal Backpacker is to follow for the whole stay on Prague but give you some distances by leaving accidentally outside the city centre!
As it is hardly possible to sum up a visit of week on a small page web, I introduce you here my blows of heart on this city:
- The bridge Charles: Even if everybody has already seen him in postcard, even if they feel having seen him in 16 films of which treble X, this bridge is really superb. The view on the bank of the old city (at the foot of the chateau) towards the city centre is worth heavy sound of peanuts.
- Transport in common: trams have a great look 70' s while many are stuffed with electronics and so modern as the last equipping our cities. Undergrounds are absolutely NICKELS and all the transport are accessible for a correct price.
- The beer in 30 cts in great market …
- Pint in 1 euro in bar
- The very "Soviet “ side of the city
- The cops in Smart (true!)
The continuation of events in my small life, is in fine December, head more in heat, more in the sun, in Dominican Republic! (in a next ticket)
